Eligibility
For Ayush Nursing: In-Service ANM

For Adolescent Health & counseling: Teachers who are teaching in primary, middle & secondary & higher secondary schools or graduates.

For Diploma: In-service registered nursing professionals (RN) and (RNRM) at all levels (GNM / B.Sc. in Nursing / M.Sc. in Nursing)

How To Apply
The detailed students hand book and prospectus-cum-admission Form can be obtained from the Regional Centers of IGNOU and IGNOU Head quarters on payment of Rs.100/- in favour of “IGNOU”, payable at New Delhi.

Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in . In such case IPO/ Demand Draft for Rs.100/- should be sent in favour of IGNOU, Payable at New Delhi.

Applications invited by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) OPENNET for Bachelor of Education course commencing in the session 2011.

IGNOU OPENNET Eligibility:

Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from recognized University.
Candidates should have 2 years of teaching experience in government recognized school.

How to Apply for IGNOU OPENNET :

Prospectus and form can be obtained at IGNOU regional centres by paying Rs 500 in cash or through demand draft for Rs. 550 in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.

Important Dates for IGNOU OPENNET:

Last date for submission of application form is 15th July 2011 .
Entrance test will be held on 21st August, 2011.

About the Entrance Test

You will be given a test booklet containing 200 objective type multiple choice questions and a specifically designed OMR response sheet in the Examination hall. You will notice from the sample test paper that it is different from the usual School/College examinations. It is, therefore, necessary for you to know in advance about the type of questions and the way in which you are required to answer them. This handout will help you in this respect.

The type of tests which will be used in this OPENMAT (ENTRANCE TEST) are given below:

All the above four tests will be given in a composite test booklet which will be printed in English. You will be given composite time of three hours to answer 200 questions. You may attempt the test in any order you like. Since the questions in the test Booklet are objective type, answers are not required to be written in words or sentences. For each question, there are four answer choices suggested and only one of them is right. You have to select the right answer from amongst the given answers. In case you find that none of the four alternatives is correct, you have to mark ‘O’.
