Approximately 500 Student from Patna city, who studying in different engineering coaching institutes have cracked the IIT-JEE 2012 Entrance Exam. The results were announced on Friday. As many as 54 candidates in general category and seven in reserved category out of our 412 students have qualified,” said Sharat Prakash, director of FIITJEE, Patna Centre.

Director of Sahil Study Centre, Mithilesh Singh, talking to TOI said, “One of our students, Shakti Kumar has got all-India rank (AIR) 80. Out of our 107 students who appeared at the examination, 17 have cleared it. Seven of these 17 students hold AIR within 1,000.

Indian Institute of Technology joint Entrance Exam IIT-JEE 2012 results has declared on today morning. Candidates can access the results of the Joint Entrance Exam Test (JEE), held on April 8, through the website jee.iitm.ac.in. Arpit Aggarwal from Delhi has topped the prestigious exam this year. Bijoy Kocjhar from Chandigarh and Nishant Kaushik from Bhilai are 2nd and 3rd respectively.

This year more than 5.6 lakh students had appeared for the IIT-JEE across 1,067 centres. Successful candidates, based on their ranking, will be eligible for admission to nearly 9,600 undergraduate seats in the 15 IITs. Candidates who clear IIT-JEE 2012 will have to submit a physical fitness certificate before admission.

Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class 10 Examination 2012 results have been declared. About 8.5 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examination. The students can check thier results on official website of Karnataka SSLC board. Students can also access their results via SMS.  In order to get the results students will need to type result, KAR12 and their registration number on 56263.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-2012) results will be declared on May 28. The exam held on April 13 got mixed reactions from the aspiring lawyers.  The candidates found Mathematics and English easier as compared to the rest of the papers. The test was conducted in 20 cities across 46 centres. The two-hour exam consisted of English, general knowledge, elementary mathematics, legal aptitude and logical reasoning.

Almost, 25,769 students applied for the entrance exam. Those candidates who clear the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2012 can apply to about 14 prestigious law schools which include National Law School if India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, with 1,702 UG seats.

Anna University Chennai Open Admission for MBA, MCA, M.Sc (IT) degree programmes of Distance Education mode and M.Sc Computer Science (free open source software) FOSS on line programme for the academic year 2012-13. Admissions for MBA, MCA, M.Sc (IT) degree programmes will be made through an University entrance exam, the last date for receiving the completed application forms is 09 July 2012.

All India Pre-Medical Entrance Examination (AIPMT-2012). A total number of 7,968 students attended the exam from Kerala state on Sunday. Kerala has the largest number of candidates among the 30,800 who cleared the preliminary examination to compete in the second phase. This is for the second consecutive year that the state is fielding the largest number of candidates.

After the exam, most students heaved a sigh of relief as they felt that the paper was not very difficult. “The paper was good and had easy and moderately difficult questions,” said Sethu Lakshmi, a student from Thrissur. “This year’s exam seems to be easier compared to that of previous years. Many questions from previous question papers were repeated,” said another student Anupriya C Jacob.

Uttar Pradesh medical education directorate has announced the counselling schedule for Post Graduate Medical course admission 2012. counselling will be held between 15 May to 18 May in Lucknow. The counselling will take place at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University premises.

The results of UPPGMEE 2012 were declared on March 1 and counselling was slated to take place in the month of April. However, the process was delayed due to delay in allocation of seats through the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam.

Delhi University law entrance exam for admission to LLB and LLM degrees programs will be held on 10-June-2012. Candidates are required 50% marks for General in graduate/post graduate degree for appearing in this exam and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. The LLM law entrance exam will be held on 17-June-2012. Those candidates have the 3 to 5 years LLB degree may eligible for LLM with 50% marks for general and 45% marks for SC/ST/CW/OBC category candidates.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE-2012) result will be declared on 15 May-2012 for admission into various courses at KIIT University in Orissa. Results of KIITEE 2012 will be published online. The candidates can see their result by giving their application number/roll number. Rank Card indicating the Rank in Entrance Examination, shall be sent to the qualified candidates.
