Applications are invited for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Two Year Full Time Programme)
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline (10+2+3) recognized by the Association of the Indian Universities I AICTE as eligible for post graduate studies, with minimum 50% marks and 45% for SC/ST candidates. Final year graduation students with at least 50% marks in the immediately preceding examination can also apply.

To be eligible for admission to IMDR, all candidates have to take the Common Admission Test (CAT).

Candidates must register with IMDR by submitting the application form along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- in favour of ‘Director, IMDR’.

AIEEE stands for All India Entrance Exam'>Engineering Entrance Examination. This is an entrance exam specifically for engineering colleges and institutes in India. The minimum academic qualification to apply for AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or equal qualifying examination. Those who are appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination can also appear in AIEEE 2009 for consideration of provisional admission. AIEEE exam is held by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for engineering, architecture, planning and pharmacy. Since the AIEEE program is offered either in English or Hindi this choice must be stated while applying in the application form and it cannot be changed. No. of questions: 75 objective type questions with almost equal weightage to Botany & Zoology

No. of questions: Part I contains 50 objective type questions, Part 2 contains 2 questions to test drawing aptitude.

How to apply: Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT can apply by any one of the following methods

OMR application form: Applicants are required to fill up the OMR application form enclosed and send it to the admissions officer, IBSAT office (address given on the left hand side). The self attested copies of X class, XII class and graduation marks sheets are to be enclosed along with the OMR application form. The students in the final year of graduation may enclose the mark sheets up to the current semester/year

Online application: Applicants can apply online by filling up the application form available at website and make payment of Rs 1,200/- towards the cost using credit/debit card (visa/master card/Citibank card) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying through online should attach their scanned color photograph along with the online application. The IBSAT application material will be sent to such applicants

Download of application form: Alternatively, applicants can download the application form from website, complete it and send it to the admission officer along with the demand draft of Rs 1,200/- towards the cost (demand draft in favor of IUCF A/c IBS payable at Hyderabad). The IBSAT application material will be sent to such applicants

Documents to be sent with application form: The applicants applying through any one of the above modes should enclose the self attested copies of X class, XII class and graduation mark sheets (year wise/semester wise) along with the OMR application form. The students applying online have to forward the attested copies of their mark sheets to the admissions officer. The students in the final year of graduation may enclose the mark sheets up to the current semester/year

Last date for application: The last date for receipt of completed OMR Application Form is 08th December, 2010. All applicants are advised to adhere to the last date prescribed for submission of the application form. Please submit the application form as early as possible to improve the chances of getting the test center of your choice

Email: It is mandatory for all the applicants to indicate their e-mail ID, as all important information relating to IBSAT will be intimated to the applicants by e-mail

Similarly all applicants are required to send their letters/correspondence by e-mail only to info@ibsat.org clearly indicating their names and application number of IBSAT

Test centers all over India: IBSAT will be conducted all over India. The applicants can choose any one of the test center available for IBSAT. Note that requests for change of test center will not be entertained under normal circumstances. In the event of not having enough seats at the requested test center, applicants will be allotted the nearest alternative center. IBSAT office reserves the right to add or delete a few test centers depending upon the situation. The same will be intimated on the website for the benefit of applicants

Online admit card: All applicants who have applied for IBSAT are eligible to download online admit cards from www.ibsat.org, using the application number and date of birth as their user name and password respectively from 15th November, 2010 onwards. The online admit card will carry the photo, name, address, roll number of the applicant, test date, timings, and details of the test center. No hard copies of admit cards will be sent. The admit card is not transferable. Impersonation is a punishable offence under law

IBSAT results: The results of the IBSAT 2010 will be hosted online on www.ibsat.org around 15th January, 2011. The details of the score (in terms of percentiles) obtained in the test will be intimated to all applicants

The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination, 2010 on 19th December, 2010 for recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.

Eligibility
(a) Age Limits: Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years on 1st August, 2010.

The upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.

(b) Educational Qualifications :

Must have passed in the first or second division, the intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

(c) Physical Standards:

Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in Appendix-ll of the Rules for the Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination, 2010 published in the Gazette of India dated 28th August, 2010.
How To Apply
(a) Candidates, who wish to apply offline, must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post
Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix-lll of the Notice throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty only).

Each such Form can be used only once and only for one examination. In case of any difficulty in obtaining Application Forms from the designated HPOs/POs, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned Post Master or UPSC’s “FORMS SUPPLY MONITORING CELL” over Telephone No.011-23389366/Fax N0.011-23387310.

(b) Candidates can also apply Online using the link http://www.upsconline.nic.in Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned Website.

FEE :

(a) Candidates applying Offline (through Common Application Form) are required to pay a fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only.

(b) Candidates applying Online are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs.25/- (Rupees Twenty Five only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

(c) All Female candidates/SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of Fee. (OBC candidates are required to pay full fee).

(a) Common Application Form All offline applications must reach the “Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi- 110069″ either by hand or by Post / Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 27th September, 2010.

However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote areas specified in the Notice published in the Employment News dated 28.08.2010, the last date for receipt of applications by Post/Speed) Post only (not by Hand or by Courier) is 04th October, 2010.
