The common test for admissions to English (honours) is being held for the first time this year. As of now, 12 DU colleges have agreed to accept CATE scores though DU officials claimed that the number will go up.
The colleges that will admit students on basis of CATE scores are Hindu College, IP College for Women, Kamala Nehru College, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Maharaja Agrasen College, Ram Lal Anand College, Ram Lal College (evening), Satyawati College, Shivaji College, Swami Shraddhanand College, Zakir Husain College and Zakir Husain College (evening). The students will have to apply through separate forms available from June 1 at the department of English in Arts Faculty, North Campus.
